Sponsoring and Promoting Using stock Demonstrations

As with all aspects of product demonstrations there is always a way to optimize your results and make the best use of your time. Let us look at a choice of "do's" and "do not's" to maximize your chances of successful recruitment for customers or distributors.

Regardless of how many prospects may be arrival always leave the seating arrangement as it is. It is consuming to have to go and find more chairs if more than you catered for turn up. Any way many do say they will come; only half will arrive even though the host will assure you that their friends are different!

Coffee Tea

Do not have the television or music on as this will be annoying to the guests if you switch it off to start the meeting and it is just before a Crossroads climax!

Leave alcohol out of the proceedings as this can severely disrupt the meeting at a later time.

Only have light refreshments at the end of the product demonstration and possible a cup of tea, coffee or just water on arrival. always insist that the host only offers these when you give the signal as gift refreshments too early means that the attentiveness and interest is lost and no one will get involved.

If children or pets are in the household, arrange that a babysitter is present and that any animals are securely put into another area of the house. More meetings have been ended by children or pets than whatever else.

After the product demonstration always keep the conversation steered towards the branch in hand otherwise the theme is lost and other topics will creep in and again the meeting is lost.

Make sure that while the presentation that you are the only speaker and be prepared on the odd occasion to override the nuisance heckler.

Keep the information in a straightforward repeatable form so that population attending leave the meeting feeling that they could have done it!

Enjoy your product demonstration meetings and keep the above to a low key so that the meeting flows and is totally expert to all who attend.

Good luck.
