There are many things you can do to say a good alkaline pH level. In fact, it is fairly easy to achieve and maintain. Be sure to check your pH normally by getting a saliva or urine test kit (available at most drug or condition food stores). Both are slightly accurate. If you want to have a much strict result, you can opt for a blood test by a doctor (although it is the most high-priced among the three).
Another thing you can do that would advantage you a lot is to drink at least 5 to 8 cups of pure alkaline water every day. If you do not have alkaline water, try squeezing in a slight fresh lemon juice into your water. Just to elucidate though, water means water. Coffee, tea, sports drinks, soda, or any other sweetened beverages do not count. If this process makes you urinate more often, this is no guess to worry. It's healthy.
Still, the amount one thing you should do to say an alkaline pH and comfort your Gerd, acid reflux, heartburn, or any digestive qoute you have, is to have a diet of at least 70% alkaline foods and be sure to properly incorporate all of your meals in the process. Alkaline rich foods involve most fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoiding processed and fast food will right on give your body a much needed rest from all the acid, waste and useless toxic it has been vainly accumulating for quite some time.
Properly combining your meals on the other hand means you should never have starchy foods together with concentrated proteins. You can have whether category and pair them with any high water article vegetables (non-starchy), but having that hamburger and fries combination, rice and chicken meal, or that steak and baked potato delicacy is naturally a no-no... At least, not now while you're undergoing medicine for your condition condition.
Remember that maintaining an alkaline pH is one good natural cure for Gerd, acid reflux, heartburn or any digestive disorder you have.
